    • Performs a complete primary assessment. Primary Survey: ABC's, LOC, Vital Signs, Chief Complaint, Writes Appropriate Narrative
    • Obtains relevant and accurate patient history, medications, and allergies in a systematic manner (secondary assessment).
    • Performs an appropriate physical examination and ongoing assessment to include vital signs.
    • Maintains adequate documentation on patient: Insurance Information and Policy Type/Number, Secondary Information, Patient Demographics
    • Communicates with the patient effectively.
    • Shows competent knowledge of patient care.
    • Demonstrates Proper lifting/transfer techniques.
    • Provides appropriate care and management of various patient types such as: OB/GYN Patients, Mentally/Emotionally-Disturbed, Trauma Victims, Emergency Situation Victims (i.e. heart attack, choking, drowning, trapped, etc.)

    • Demonstrate effective communication skills with team members, staff, supervision, and patients

    • Demonstrates ability to pull in calls from CAD/TraumaSoft and sufficiency to operate TraumaSoft or equivalent administrative database.
    • Knowledge of scope of care as defined by state, regional, and local regulatory agencies
    • Complies with regulations on the handling of the deceased, notifies authorities, and arranges for protection of property and evidence at the scene
  • Equipment/Supplies
    • Maintains assigned inventory (daily check-off lists).
    • Demonstrates the ability to correctly operate all medical equipment
    • Medication Inventory maintained.
    • Make sure truck is checked off vehicle prior to shift.
