  • Plans and executes a marketing strategy
    • Plan or direct development or communication of programs to maintain favorable public opinion of organization's accomplishments, agenda, or educational responsibility.
    • Study the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion and promote ideas, products, or services.
    • Consult with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media for products, organizations, or individuals.
    • Develop marketing campaigns to support the planned event schedule.
    • Plan event schedule for the next fiscal year to be presented at the trustee annual meeting.
    • Track, record, and report all attendance (fund raising, awareness, grand openings, daily, programs, and volunteers.)
  • Write advertising or promotional material.
    • Post and update content on Web site and all social media outlets.
    • Write press releases or other media communications to promote organization.
  • Collaborate with others in marketing activities.
    • Confer with other managers to identify trends or key group interests or concerns or to provide advice on business decisions.
    • Confer with production, support, or volunteer personnel to produce or coordinate production of advertisements or promotions.
    • Give input in budget development process on estimated fund raising capability.
  • Coach others.
    • Coach all representatives in effective communication with the public or with employees.
    • Market, schedule, track, train and reward volunteers. Also conduct volunteering "windows"
    • Debrief events with an eye toward improving efficiencies and increasing funds raised.
  • Write grants and raise funds.
    • Research write, and submit grants.
    • Support fund raising and development efforts through database and internet research, networking and solicitation.
  • Author and execute development plan.
    • Create and implement development plan which details how responsibilities will be divided between trustees and staff, including deadlines and goals.

    • Plan and conduct fundraising events.
  • Coordinate logistics for fundraising events.
    • Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits to increase product or service awareness, raise support or to promote goodwill.
    • Review Master Calendar for accuracy against fund-raising and awareness events schedule.
  • Conduct market research.
    • Plan or conduct market or public opinion research to test products or determine potential for product success, communicating results to client or management.
  • Inform viewers, listeners, or audiences.
    • Prepare or deliver speeches to further public relations objectives.
  • Promote products, activities, or organizations.
    • Purchase advertising space or time as required to promote client's product or agenda.
    • Reach business community via participation in Chamber and Rotary meetings.
