    • Read and understand safety procedures for the Unitizer
    • Read and understand lock-out procedures located at workstation, located on Intranet
    • Locate & understand the risks "A type" on machine
    • Ability to locate WHIMIS sheets on Intranet
    • Identify all emergency stops & knowledge to reset them
    • Comprehension of basic functions of buttons and switches on machine
    • Read and understand 5-S procedures for the unitizer
    • Read and understand factory specification ticket
    • Tidy work area when time allows, including but not limited to end of shift clean up
    • Sign on to Amtec / Plant Data Entry (computer).
    • Ability to navigate PDE (plant data entry) program
    • Ability to scan units into computer
    • Locate main electrical panel, turn on power; tracks and unitizer
    • Confirm specification tickets, print tags, and product are accurate
    • Ensure adequate supply of top sheets of varying sizes
    • Scan unit
    • Fit unit with top sheets, ensure no overhang
    • Knowledge of how many straps are required, direction of straps
    • Mitigate strapping over ticket
    • Ability to change and accurately thread strap
    • Ability to run chains manually and automatically
    • Ability to reset, rethread and cut straps when required
    • Ability to reset turn-table
    • Ability to clean strapping heads to reduce error
  • Shipping Clerk
    • Read and understand safety procedures for the shipping department
    • Read and understand lock-out procedures located at workstation, located on Intranet
    • Locate & understand the risks "A type" on machine
    • Ability to locate WHIMIS sheets on Intranet
    • Identify all emergency stops & knowledge to reset them
    • Ensure all loads on trailers are secured effectively
    • Ensure every trailer is locked in place, tires are chocked, and ramp is secure
    • Complete forklift safety inspection and checklist daily
    • Read, understand and demonstrate san forklift operations
    • Ensure doors are locked at end of shift
    • Read and understand 5-S procedures for shipping
    • Read and understand factory specification ticket
    • Tidy work area when time allows, including but not limited to end of shift clean up
    • Locate main electrical panel
    • Turn on power, lights
    • Sign on to E/ Plant Data Entry (computer).
    • Ability to navigate PDE (plant data entry) program
    • Ability to navigate TopGun program
    • Ability to effectively navigate the delivery menu in Encore
    • Organize and manage time effectively
    • Remove units from unitized track, ensuring the track does not get backed up creating a bottleneck for the unitized
    • Knowledge of orders and units that require extended resources (wrapping, pallet size/type, double stack, etc) per customer specification
    • Ability to load trailers per delivery schematic
    • Unload trailers to designated areas (pile, sheetlike track, finish end)
    • Ensure accuracy in TopGun when scanning units to receiving and/or shipping
    • Report discrepancies to supervisor
    • Complete carrier paperwork, file paper work and/or deliver to superior when required
    • Curtiously and effectively talk to customers and drivers
    • File day/months paperwork
    • Answer incoming calls
